CROMAflow is fully automated and runs
as a part of your Delta station.
Firstly you should install it into your Delta directory.
The Delta Rip is then shutdown and the software protection
Dongle is attached to the back of the Delta Dongle and
the system is restarted.
CROMAflow can now be started from the
Start menu under Programs for the initial setup.
CROMAflow converts Delta Jobs into DuPont Digital WaterProofer files format.
CROMAflow has options to control the contents and type of the output files. You can
select the Sun or Windows format for your output using the "Output Format" option.
Use "Resolution" to select one of the two possible values: Standard or Enhanced.
Use "Rotation"
to rotate the output file.
"Naming Convention" allows to name your output files based on the source PS
name of the file name.
If you know what type your output device is you can set it in the
CROMAflow
option "AutoE"
for more accurate file processing.
CROMAflow installer has the list of the
possible devices.
CROMAflow includes built-in FTP transfer
support. If you want to send your job to the other proofer
via FTP, you can press a button FTP Convert and enter
settings for this.
Then
CROMAflow is configured as part of
a Delta Export Queue. It runs in a completely automated
fashion.
Lucid's job ticketing and built-in FTP transfer support
allows you to send output from one Delta to multiple
proofers, or from many Delta-s to one proofer. Each
Delta queue can use different proof settings, so you
can optimize the workflow.
You can send your output to remote proofier or receive it from remote Delta station,
using FTP settings.
After you have configured the software the options would be stored and then used for all jobs that
CROMAflow processes. But you can change the options for any selected job.
Use the
Job Ticket (JT) for that job to apply individual options. If you run the application
with a JT
then the parameters from the JT take effect. Currently the job tickets for
CROMAflow
are created in XML format. You don't have to edit the JT manually.
CROMAflow
will save the parameters you define in a JT that you can later use with your jobs. Start
CROMAflow, set all necessary options and press the
"Job Ticket…"
button to save your settings.
