Introducing Thermal
Compositor
Thermal Compositor is the missing link between
Delta-to-Plate systems and the quick front to back industry
standard Dylux proof. Thermal Compositor makes it possible
to create electronic "bluelines" from your Delta Rip.
Thermal Compositor merges the color separations in the
original Delta job and then creates a
new composite grayscale Delta job, i.e. a Delta job
with only one separation. The ultimate job can be output
on plate-proofing material, such as DuPont's Thermal
Dylux(R), directly from the plate-setter attached to
the Delta Rip. This process yields superior yet cost-effective
imposition proofing.
Thermal Compositor supports spot colors, the Delta Trapper
and the full job resolution, allowing you to
see
all elements at the correct size and shape. Images
are produced on the material with one proofing pass.
Coated on both sides of the paper-based media, DuPont
Dylux® Thermal Blueline yields instant front and
back images upon exposure to 830 nm wavelength light.
It is loaded in a manner similar to that utilized with
aluminum plates and imaged with the same optics, laser
and screening that are used to image the printing plate.
You can produce a high-resolution imposition proof in
less than six minutes.
