Lucid Dream Software has now upgraded TIFF/ITflow to version 4.1.3 which comes with a number of new features and improvements. Full Delta support includes new version 7!

The key enhancement to this version of TIFF/ITflow is its support for high-resolution image clipping. One of the biggest issues with using the TIFF/IT file format has been the inability of TIFF/IT products to handle high-resolution clipping paths for image on image stacking. Most TIFF/IT products will flatten two images placed on top of each other into one image.
The final TIFF/IT file will only support a low-resolution edge between these two images, regardless of the clipping path used when placing these two images in the page layout program.

This new update to TIFF/ITflow> enables us to detect the high-resolution edge between images and maintain this information in the TIFF/IT file set! Now your production pages with high contrast clipped images placed on background images will be produced in the TIFF/IT file exactly as designed in the page layout program!

An updated Scitex Brisque library is also featured in this release. This update adds significant new value to TIFF/ITflow allowing it to produce Scitex Brisque Jobs supporting the "New Linework & New CT" format. Now you can create production jobs in either TIFF/IT or Scitex formats with one inexpensive tool.

This new feature also extends the TIFF/ITflow job ticket handling so that it is XML - JDF compliant. It has been done to provide compatibility between TIFF/ITflow and our new web based production tool.
